2019 NAMIWalks Maryland

NAMIWalks Maryland is part of the largest grassroots fundraising and education effort for mental illness in the United States. Almost 1500 people will gather in Baltimore to raise awareness for mental health issues and help to erase the stigma surrounding mental illness. Proceeds from the event support NAMI Maryland’s mission “to improve the quality of life for individuals and their families coping with mental illness.” Our organization provides crucial statewide educational programs and support services for people with mental illness and their loved ones, as well as advocating for statewide legislation for individuals with mental illness.
