Hub City 100 Miler

January 14, 2022- April 23, 2022

The goal: Walk/run 1 mile a day for 100 days. You can get fit and healthy at home or outdoors! Aerobic activities such as yoga, biking, or zoom fitness classes count as “miles.” Throughout the 100 days, weekly emails offer motivational tips, recipes, and ideas to reach your daily miles. Plus, you’ll be invited to join a private Facebook group to share your experience with other 100 Milers!

Prizes listed below are updated weekly.

Kick-Off Event
On Friday, January 14 at 5pm, the program kicks-off and 100 Milers will walk the first mile together at Fairgrounds Park in Hagerstown. On-site registration will also be available. For those not comfortable to meet and walk in person, the annual kick-off will also be live streamed for participants to walk from the comfort of their own neighborhood or inside on a treadmill. The 100 Miler kick-off will be live on the City of Hagerstown Facebook page, Hagerstown Parks & Recreation Facebook page, and Live 96.7 Social Streams. Join the Facebook event here.
*Attending the kick-off is not a requirement of the program.

On Friday evening and Saturday morning, 100 Milers will also have the opportunity to earn their first mile(s) by participating in free fitness classes virtually and/or in person.
