Memorial Benefit for Emily Duckworth

A Memorial Benefit for Emily Duckworth will be held on May 29th, 30th, and 31st at 7 pm as a live broadcast on YouTube. Emily died of a Glioblastoma in December of 2017 at the age of 21. Her family, especially her youngest sister, is honoring her bravery and desire to help others through an annual memorial day fundraiser, with this first virtual benefit this weekend. Emily was a compassionate person who loved the arts, and this broadcast of recorded performances celebrates her love for them. May is National Brain Tumor Awareness Month. This benefit is to provide funds for the National Brain Tumor Society, Stupid Cancer, and the Emily Duckworth Memorial Scholarship at Frederick Community College.
